Gender Reveal Party: How To's (DIY)
Ashton and I wanted to make finding out what we were having special and we wanted to include all of our loved ones...So we did and it was a BLAST!
Invitations...
- Brides Invitation Kit from Michael's
- Designed and printed at home
-I used round and long tables with rented white linens.
-For chairs I wanted to do something other than all folding chairs so I pulled in a bunch of brown, white, and black painted wooden chairs from my house and friends homes. I mixed these in together and it turned out really fun I think.
(For the rest I borrowed white picket folding chairs)
- Also we strung lights and orange lanterns from the roof to the fence to create a canopy effect
For the Table Decor...
- I made 41 tissue paper flower for the napkin rings...4 (10x5) sheets of tissue accordion folded, floral wire in middle, and then fluffed only up then flat on bottom...
- I used 41 Sheets of scrapbook paper in my color scheme for the place-mats
(About 13 different patterns total)
- Mason Jars for drinking glasses
- Martha Stewart labels...printed the names with typewriter font by running the labels through my printer
Sign on the Front Door...
- I used a Cricut machine to do all the letters and details then glued it to a poster...Laminated due to Texas humidity...Mounted on foam core...and hung by a piece of twisted burlap...
Center Pieces...
- Used brown root beer bottles then spray painted beer bottles gray the added white daises
- On round tables I used square vases with small mums leaving dirt exposed
- Each table had a vintage milk jug for water
Outdoor Banner...
- Got this idea from my friend Brianne Walker (team-walker.blogspot.com)
- Used the Cricut machine again to cut the letters, scrapbook paper, and orange ribbon
My goofy husband and myself...waiting for the guest to arrive
Food...
- Neiman Marcus bars in cupcake holders
- Orange sugar rimmed glasses for Mango margaritas by Williams Sonoma
- Homemade Caramel corn in orange paper bags with printed tags
Sonogram Progression Banner...
- Used all the sonogram pics from 8 weeks until now, ribbon, and baby clothes pins

Let the Cake Cutting Begin...
It's a GIRL!
- My father in law had banners made with both names so we could reveal the baby's name after we cut the cake...this was SOOOOO special
Hope this answers your questions on how to do it yourself!!
